In culmination of the semester abroad program SIT: International Studies and Multilateral Diplomacy in Geneva, Switzerland, current IAS major Samantha Pitz (DEV, '17) published a research paper about the efficacy of the most current nuclear arms control treaty between the United States and Russia. The paper, entitled "An Old and New START to Russian-United States Nuclear Arms Control Agreements," was chosen by the program's Academic Director as one of three top research papers of the semester. The paper is published on SIT's (School of International Training) website and can be accessed here. Samantha spent the 2016 spring semester in Geneva, one of numerous opportunities for IAS majors to study abroad.
