"For students who are unsure of where they want to take their interests in current events, history, international affairs, politics, etc., the IAS department offers a way for them to learn about these topics and find careers that involve all of them. Because we discussed issues from multiple vantage points, I better understand how issues in the real world spread beyond the borders of just one academic department."
