Russian Language and Literature

Students who want to achieve a high level of proficiency in the Russian language (beyond the third year) and study Russian literature in depth can pursue a minor in Russian Language and Literature. The minor offers elementary through advanced language courses and many courses on 19th and 20th-century Russian literature (in translation) on a wide variety of topics. Students are highly encouraged to study abroad.
